Conflagration Distilling is dedicated to the craftsmanship of producing exceptional spirits intended for communal enjoyment, all while maintaining an unwavering commitment to supporting first responders without compromising on the essence of quality. 10% of profits are directed towards supporting the families of firefighters and first responders.
Conflagration Distilling stands as a symbol of expertise, dedication, and a profound sense of responsibility towards those who serve as firefighters and their families.
New Logo
Adhering to principles for crafting a logo that is both straightforward and intimately personal, the shape embraces familiarity, propelling the company towards innovation.
The dragon, serving as a cherished memento with personal significance, and the Maltese, a clear symbol representing active firefighters, posed a challenge when incorporating the brand name. Striking a balance between simplicity, appropriateness, and memorability proved to be a formidable task.
Recognizing the imperative of simplicity, the dragon underwent a modernization process, evolving into the new Conflagration symbol. While the Maltese may no longer be a part of the primary symbol, it still retains a role within the broader brand system.
My Contributions
I contributed to the brand’s storytelling by designing a social media reel that served as an engaging advertisement, tailored for Instagram’s visual-first audience. I also created a compact, print-friendly zine that could be easily folded and distributed at tasting events, which is an approachable, cost-effective promotional piece thoughtfully designed for the needs of a small, family-run business. These deliverables aligned with the new brand identity while keeping usability and budget in mind.
